Advanced Web Application Architecture by Matthias Noback. I'm stuck after the first chapter. I've heard some great reviews, so I'll probably give it a couple of more chapters before I make up my mind about it.

And two books in Polish about history. This series is a little bit like Hardcode History, but tries to keep it funny and light if possible.

• Historia Bez Cenzury #4: Średniowiecze bez trzymanki by Wojciech Drewniak. This book is about the middle ages and all the "fun" stuff that was going on at the time.

• Historia Bez Cenzury #5: I straszno, i śmieszno - PRL by Wojciech Drewniak. I wanted to learn more about the time when Poland was ruled by the Soviet Union. It has everything from serial killers and cars to politics.

Personal Thoughts #

I got a scooter for my birthday (non-electric) and have to say that it's great for matching my son when he is cycling on a bike.

For some reason, my Wife got into Eurovision this year and I'll probably remember 2024 with those songs in the background.

I finished Shogun and it was awesome. Highly recommend.
